Services and Scope
Legally Geminian provides mediation, arbitration, and consulting services. These services are non-legal in nature. While attorneys may be engaged to review or finalize agreements, Legally Geminian does not provide legal representation. Our Service & Refund Policy governs payments, cancellations, and related client terms. Mediation services are subject to the protections of the Uniform Mediation Act. See Unif. Mediation Act § 2, 7A U.L.A. 97 (2003). Arbitration services fall under the Federal Arbitration Act, which recognizes the enforceability of arbitration agreements. See 9 U.S.C. §§ 1–16 (2018).

Independent Professionals
Legally Geminian may involve independent professionals such as financial specialists, coaches, appraisers, or consultants. We carefully vet these professionals and only work with those we believe meet our standards and client expectations. However, these professionals are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Legally Geminian. Each professional is solely responsible for their own advice, services, and conduct. See Restatement (Second) of Agency § 2 (Am. L. Inst. 1958). By proceeding with services that include these professionals, clients acknowledge and accept that Legally Geminian is not liable for their acts, errors, or omissions. If clients experience issues, they should report them to us so we may review and, if necessary, adjust our relationship with the professional.

Confidentiality
Mediation sessions conducted through Legally Geminian are confidential to the extent permitted by law. See D.C. Code § 16–4202 (2023). While we take reasonable steps to preserve confidentiality, absolute security of electronic communications cannot be guaranteed.

Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and materials, is owned by Legally Geminian and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

Prohibited Uses
You may not use this website or our services to engage in unlawful activity, attempt to interfere with site functionality, scrape or misappropriate content, or harass, abuse, or harm others.

Limitation of Liability
Legally Geminian does not guarantee specific outcomes from mediation, arbitration, or consulting services. All use of this site and our services is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. Limitations of liability and disclaimers of warranty are generally enforceable under contract law. See Restatement (Second) of Contracts § 195 (Am. L. Inst. 1981).

Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Washington, D.C., unless otherwise required by law. Forum-selection clauses are recognized as presumptively valid. See M/S Bremen v. Zapata Off-Shore Co., 407 U.S. 1, 15 (1972).

Changes to Terms
Legally Geminian reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
